Quote of the evening
Dinner with my parents is always rich with "Quote of the Evening" opportunities. Tonight was no exception:
Mom (singing):...well it's hard out here for a pimp...
Me: Mom!
Mom: What? It's from that movie Hustle and Flow.
Me: I know. It won the Oscar.
Mom: I like that song. It has an upbeat sound to it.

what is it about indian parents and their interest in seemingly inappropriate (at least for them) songs? my dad had similar statements about eminem & dr. dre's 'forgot about dre' from back in the day. <:><
